Dear families and students,

Due to the cancellation of Riverton’s Varsity Football season this fall, the decision has been
made to move this year’s homecoming game to Friday, September 20, 2024 when Auburn is
scheduled to compete against Pleasant Plains High School at Michael J. Potts Field in Auburn. This
will also move other homecoming activities to this week, including the parade, dance, and
coronation.

The week Auburn was scheduled to play Riverton (Friday, October 11, 2024) is TBD at this
time. More information will be shared when it is available in regards to this date.

Sunday (September 15th):
-Yard games and Cookout at the football field for High School students.
- Homecoming Court/Coronation at the football field.

Friday (September 20th):
2:00 PM - Dismissal for all Auburn Schools.
3:00 PM -Parade in town
7:00 PM- Varsity Football Game vs. Pleasant Plains

Saturday (September 21st):
-Homecoming Dance at Auburn High School
