Baisden Punches Ticket to IHSA State Cross Country!
Senior James Baisden will make another return trip to State this weekend after earning his spot at the Elmwood Sectional on Saturday with his 15.57 time and overall 20th place finish out of 142 runners. Fellow Senior Jacob Barth finished his career with a 16.39 and a 48th place finish. Senior Mackenzie Mallicoat capped of her career with a 21.21 time. Senior Reese Megginson surpassed the 1,000 dig milestone on Tuesday night in a two set win at Central A&M. Fletcher Earns XC All-State Honors, Finishing in 20th place!

Senior Jocelyn Law was 5 assists shy of 1,00 going into Tuesday nights game against Riverton and didn't take long to git the landmark in the first set. Parker Advances to Sectional in Boys Golf!
Senior Ryer Parker finished with a score of 79 in the 2025 IHSA 1A Boys Golf Regional held at Mowequa Golf Course to advance to the Cambridge Sectional on Monday October 6th. The Trojan Boy's Golf team finished 7th out of 15 teams with a team score of 344. All 6 golfers shot a 91 or better for a great finish to the season. Best of luck to Ryer in the Sectional! Woker Takes 2nd Medalist Honors, Advances to Sectionals!
Junior Hayleigh Woker finished 2nd medlaist in the 2025 IHSA 1A Girls Golf Regional held at Edgewood. She finished tied at 87 with Chelsea Clack and faltered in the second hole of the sudden death playoff. Hayleigh will advance to the Jacksonville Sectional on Monday October 6th at the Links Golf Course in Jacksonville. The Trojan Girl's Golf team finished 6th out of 11 teams. Seniors Raelynn Chizmar and Adaline Foster finished 26th and 30th respectively out of the 78 total golfers. Best of luck to Hayleigh in the Sectional! See link below for results! Holman Family To Be Celebrated at Homecoming Halftime!
Sarah and Josh Homan's story of courage and fight hit the national stage on College Gameday this past weekend. Sarah received her final chemo treatment on Wednesday the 24th, and we can't wait to celebrate with them next Friday, October 3rd. Please join us as we cheer on Josh and Sarah as they "race to the end zone" of her chemo treatments. There will be a table set up by the concession stand area for donations and will have our own version of College GameDay ready to go! We aren't ESPN, but we are Trojan Strong! This year marks the 10 year anniversary of the 2015 State Runner-Up Football Team. Coaches, players, and staff members are invited back and will be recognized between the 3rd and 4th quarters of Friday's Homecoming game against PORTA.
