Auburn Junior High Track was represented well at the Gillespie Sectional meet over the weekend and punched their ticket to IESA State in 10 events! State will be held at the East Side Centre in East Peoria and will begin on  Friday the 23rd. Congratulations and best of luck to the following:

7th Grade Boys 4x400 - Finished 3rd with a time of 4:10.38 - Jaxon Danner, Malakye McGraw, Brennan Fletcher, Bradyn Piper

7th Grade Boys 400 - Finished 1st with a time of 57.76 - Malakye McGraw

7th Grade Boys 1600 - Finished 1st with a time of 5:22.56 - Brennan Fletcher

7th Grade Boys Pole Vault - Finished tied for 1st with a vault of 2.44m - Fin Grossner

7th Grade Boys Long Jump - Finished 1st with a jump of 5.22m - Jaxon Danner

7th Grade Girls 4x100 - Finished 4th with a time qualifying time of 56.24 - Carlie Conway, Finley Landers, Raelyn Smith, Stella Flam

7th Grade Girls Long Jump - Finished 1st with a jump of 4.15m

8th Grade Girls 400 - Finished 5th with a qualifying time of 1:04.56 - Vivian Bottoms

8th Grade Girls 800 - Finished 1st with a time of 2:33.46 - Rihanna Barton

8th Grade Girls Shot Put - Finished 2nd with a throw of 9.34m - Madison Hackett
