Auburn Boys Track will be competing in six events at IHSA State at Eastern Illinois this weekend after a great showing in the Sectional held at Central A&M! Below are the qualifying athletes and their events as well as AthleticNet links for the last weeks sectional and this weeks state finals.

200 Meter  - Sam Talavera - 23.03 (ranked 29th)

400 Meter - Jacob Barth - 49.91 (ranked 1st)

400 Meter - Hunter Piper - 51.76 (ranked 26th)

800 Meter - James Baisden - 1:58.94 (ranked 5th)

1600 Meter - Wyatt Thurman - 4:35.62 (ranked 16th)

4x400 Relay -  Hunter Piper, James Baisden, Carter Hunley, Jacob Barth - 3:24.92 (ranked 1st)

4x800 Relay - Hunter Piper, Wyatt Thurman, Jacob Barth, James Baisden - 8:34.82 (ranked 18th)
