Auburn Boys Track will be competing in six events at IHSA State at Eastern Illinois this weekend after a great showing in the Sectional held at Central A&M! Auburn Softball Wins Their Third Straight Regional Title!

The Auburn High School Softball won their third straight Regional Championship at home on Saturday 1-0 over Carlinville! Meena Taylor was dominant on the mound and Addison Wheatley cam up clutch in driving in Addison Jones for the winning run in the bottom of the 6th inning. The Trojans reached the title game by defeating North Mac 10-0 in the Semifinal. Trojans advance to the Macomb Sectional where they will play Olympia at 4:30 on Wednesday 5/28. High School Baseball Makes It Back 2 Back Regional Titles With Win Over Litchfield!

The Auburn High School Boys Baseball team took down the top seed Litchfield Panthers 11-2 in front of a great home crowd at Trojan Field on Saturday! Brady Boylen was the winning pitcher and and Peyton Campbell have 4 RBI's in the win. The Trojans got to the title game with a 5-1 win over Pana in the Semifinal that saw Cooper Carter throw a gem of a game on the mound. Trojans advance to the Pleasant Plains Sectional where they will play the host Cardinals at 4:30 on Wednesday 5/28. Congratulations to Coach Meyers and the boys and best of luck in the Sectional!

Junior High Track Qualifies for IESA State in 10 Events!

Auburn Junior High Track was represented well at the Gillespie Sectional meet over the weekend and punched their ticket to IESA State in 10 events! State will be held at the East Side Centre in East Peoria and will begin on Friday the 23rd. The Boys Track & Field team won the first ever Sangamo Conference Indoor Track and Field event that was hosted by Williamsville High School. The Trojans finished with 89 points, just ahead of the 87 points scored by Williamsville. 3 Wrestlers Qualify for IWCOA Fresh/Soph State!

Trey Boston, Eli Hill, and Ayden Williams have qualified for the IWCOA (Illinois Wrestling Coaches and Officials Association) State on Saturday at the BOS Center in Springfield. Trey Boston finished Sectional Champion and Eli Hill and Ayden Williams were Sectional runner-up in their respective weight classes. Congratulations and best of luck!

Scholastic Bowl wins Back to Back Regionals, Sets School Record with 40 Wins!

The Scholastic Bowl won the IHSA 1A regional to go Back to Back! The Trojans defeated Pawnee 460-140 in the regional Semi-Final and took down Piasa in the Championship round 410-280. This pushed the team to 40 wins, a first in school history! The team will travel to Lincolnwood on Saturday for the Sectional as they will take on New Berlin, Gillespie, and Metro East Lutheran beginning at 10 AM.Congrats to Coach Robinson and the team!

Boys Basketball sets new school record with 30 wins!

Auburn Boys Basketball finished their 24-25 season in record setting fashion. The Trojans fell to Williamsville in the Sweet 16 Sectional Championship game and ended with a 30-5 record, setting the school record in wins that was set last year at 27. The Trojans won the Bill Rucks Thanksgiving Tournament, the Waverly Holiday Tournament (First since 2009), The Sangamon County Tournament (Back to Back), and the IHSA 2A Greenville Regional (3rd in 4 years). The Trojans will graduate 10 Seniors who combined for a 103-32 record in four years. Carter Hunley finishes his career as a 1,000 point scorer as well as being selected to all three All-Tournament Teams. Cooper Carter was selected to the Sangamon County All-Tournament Team and Clayton Kessler was selected to the Waverly Holiday All-Tournament Team. Outstanding job!
